WHO, AND WHAT, HAS INFLUENCED YOU?
I studied at the Aveda Institute Minneapolis after some of my best friends influenced me. Shortly after, I landed a position as an assistant at Mizu on Park Avenue. I’ve had some great mentors with an extensive background from Bumble & bumble and Vidal Sassoon which helped me craft my style early on in my career.
I’m a very social person, and being in an industry that allows for freedom of expression, while also being around a lot of different kinds of people, is inspiring to me. I’m big into precision, hard lines, good razor technique, and texture. I love making people feel sexy after they get a fresh cut!

Living in Brooklyn helps! My clients are my muse and I am always motivated by what they bring to the chair. I like to explore peoples' perspectives to see how it can express itself in subtle and explosive ways through their style, cut, and color.
I’m obsessed with RuPaul. I love the Queer culture in NYC and always find inspiration when wrapped up in that scene. Drag Queens have a great way of breaking the rules of “normal” to create the most beautiful and amazing presence that totally encapsulates their personality. I have no real limitations and I like to play hard, but I also seek fluidity to help cultivate a complete look for whoever I’m cutting.
WHO IS YOUR DREAM CLIENT?
If Stevie Nicks or RuPaul asked me to cut their hair, I’d die. Both embody a rockstar persona but are still true to who they really are. Sexy and glamorous. It’s how I live my life!
